kozja-site

This website itself. Built with Hugo and the hugo-coder theme, it serves as both a personal presence and a practical exercise in modern deployment automation.

The source is hosted on GitHub and connected to Azure DevOps Pipelines. Every push to the main branch triggers an automated build: Hugo compiles the site, rsvg-convert renders the SVG logo into PNG favicons and lftp syncs the output directly to the hosting server via FTP. No manual uploads, no clicking. Just git push.

The site is fronted by Cloudflare, which handles custom 404 pages via a Worker. Since the shared Nginx host does not support ErrorDocument, the Worker intercepts any 404 response from the origin and returns the site’s own 404.html instead of the default host error page.

The site is hosted on mikr.us, a Polish shared hosting platform built on top of VPS infrastructure, with built-in Nginx (Cytrus), FTP access and SSL support. It is a great affordable option for hosting static sites and small PHP projects. Recommended.
